Finishing the basement recommendations?
I need help, we're planning on finishing our basement and there is SO MUCH contradictory info on waterproofing/not waterproofing before finishing. When we bought this house last year, we went in knowing it had water problems in the basement. We had an interior French drain/sump pump installed and regraded around the house. So far more water 8+ months and counting. My question to you is do you use a vapor barrier behind the studs? Something else?
