Aaron Taylor-Johnson Is Omega's Newest Watch Ambassador

Omega announced actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson as its newest global ambassador, marking the beginning of a partnership that unites one of Hollywood’s favorite actors of the moment with one of the world’s most iconic watchmakers.

To celebrate the new collaboration, Taylor-Johnson visited Omega's headquarters in Biel, Switzerland, where he toured the brand’s watchmaking facilities and museum. While there, he explored the craftsmanship behind Omega's signature timepieces. During his visit, Taylor-Johnson wore the Speedmaster First Omega in Space, complete with a brown leather strap—a watch known for its vintage appeal. 

“I have always had an appreciation for timepieces, but especially for Omega,” Taylor-Johnson shared in a statement following his visit. “Now, after visiting the factory, I am in awe of the skill required to manufacture such a luxurious product.”

Known for his roles that span almost every genre—like from action packed thrillers like Bullet Train to romances like Anna Karenina—the 34-year-old British actor has built quite a successful career. This latest partnership pushes the envelope further.

“Aaron is such a versatile actor,” Omega President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann added in the press release. “His passion for watches is also clear, so we’re delighted to welcome him as a new ambassador.” Johnson joins an impressive list of Omega ambassadors, including past L'OFFICIEL cover star Nicole Kidman and one of Hollywood's iconic movie stars, George Clooney. 

With his major upcoming role in 28 Years Later, Taylor-Johnson's career continues to rise—now with a fancy Omega on his wrist. Maybe there'll even be a flash of the Swiss timepiece on-screen?
