This promotion was initially available to those with a co-branded IHG credit card, and it has now been expanded to more IHG One Rewards elite members, so let’s cover all the details.

IHG One Rewards is offering members 15% savings on award stays:

• You must book by Wednesday, February 12, 2025
• You must stay by Sunday, April 6, 2025
• This is available to those who have an IHG co-brand credit card, and also to non-cardmembers who have IHG Platinum or IHG Diamond status
• The offer is only available for stays of up to three nights; that’s because cardmembers get a fourth night free on award redemptions, so that’s a better value on longer stays
• The 15% discount is offered at the time of booking (you should see both the original price and discounted price listed)
• This can also be applied to Points & Cash bookings, but only the points portion is discounted

If you have any upcoming travel plans, this offer is definitely worth keeping in mind. And if you have already booked any stays during the offer period but can still rebook, that could be worth doing.

This is a lucrative offer that’s worth it

This offer from IHG is potentially worth considering:

• Since IHG One Rewards largely has dynamic award pricing, you might as well redeem when there’s a further discount on redemptions
• This is even useful for those with IHG free night certificates; they can be used for properties costing up to 40,000 points per night without a top-off, so you could redeem at more expensive properties than usual with this offer
• I’d say the major catch here is the limited travel window, as you need to stay in the next several weeks

The IHG One Rewards loyalty program is more useful since it was refreshed in 2022, with new perks for IHG Platinum and IHG Diamond members, plus the IHG Milestone Rewards program. When the new program was launched in the spring of 2022, we were promised that there would be occasional award sales, so this is one of those. We see these an average of around three times per year.
