I finally chosen the color for my new shed, but now I'm worried I've put down too many coats of color samples/primer.

Hi all, so my wife and I were going back and forth about what color to paint our new shed. We finally chose a light blue, but not after putting down several test colors coats and primer coats. Like some areas can have 12 coats of paint and primer.. Now, my concern is if I paint the entire shed will this 3x3' test area be clearly visible under the final paint? Not the color, but will the paint itself that is much thicker be visible? The wood is a weather protected plywood and construction number, and in the test area much of the cracks and crevices have been filled by the layers of paint, but not on the other 10' or shed. Do I try and remove the layers of paint with a sander? I kind of want to avoid that because I could risk damaging the wood and the weather protectant, or do I just put a ton of coats of paint and primer on the remaining parts of the shed? Just looking for any input, thanks. shed submitted by /u/Gatecrasher3 [link] [comments]
