La Prairie's Latest Caviar Skincare Launch Lands a Lightweight Moisturizer
The new product hydrates, restores the skin barrier, and promotes collagen synthesis with caviar ingredients.

Skincare product ingredients are notoriously peculiar. The more bizarre, the better it often seems. Such is evident in recent trends that laud the likes of salmon sperm as a holy grail ingredient. For lovers of La Prairie, on the other hand, their aquatic fountain of youth of choice comes from the egg. Thursday morning, the luxury skincare company revealed the latest product to join its famed caviar line that uses the delicacy for a range of skin benefits: Hydro Emulsion, a lightweight moisturizer.
While La Prairie's caviar line already has a moisturizer, this new one is for those who need something less heavy on their skin. Just like other skincare products in the line, the new face moisturizer is made to work against aging skin thanks to the formula that's designed to hydrate and boost firmness. Plus, caviar proteins in Hydro Emulsion aim to aid the skin barrier while promoting collagen synthesis. A 70-millileter bottle, which comes in the brand's signature cobalt blue hue, retails for $415 and is available to shop on the La Prairie website, in addition to select retail partners like Neiman Marcus.
“Skin Caviar Hydro Emulsion is the perfect product to decrease wrinkles, targeting wrinkle count, depth and volume to reveal firm youthful skin as demonstrated by clinical tests," La Prairie Director of Strategic Innovation and Science Dr. Jacqueline Hill said in a press release.
Hydro Emulsion marks the latest 2025 launch from La Prairie, which kicked off the year by releasing its Skin Caviar Liquid Lift serum with added micro-nutrients. With each new launch, the brand proves there's no need to re-invent the wheel. Instead, tweaking a well-made formula ever so slightly can be more rewarding.
