Marvel Rivals Ignite is underway, and America, in particular, has established the most extensive line-up of participating teams out of all regions internationally.

Ahead of what is sure to be the biggest and most intense tournament in the Marvel Rivals esports scene so far, we break down every Americas team competing and who to watch as potential champions.

Top Teams to Look Out for in Marvel Rivals Ignite Americas

Unlike Europe, many teams in North America have claimed the title of ”best team’ in the region, and Ignite will finally decide once and for all which team is truly on top. Based on the most recent or notable successes, these are the biggest talking points and top teams to keep an eye on ahead of Marvel Rivals Ignite.

The first team is 100 Thieves, most well-known for its victory in the $100,000 (~£74,000) Invitational back in April. 100 Thieves had been struggling since then to maintain that momentum, losing in the Season 1 Championships finals against Sentinels, and various Fight Night’s thereafter.

It’s only recently that 100 Thieves has finally found its footing again, with various Fight Night wins restoring its reputation as one of the best teams in America.

ENVY has become the most recent favourite amongst castors and analysts spectating the scene following their victory at The Shroud Gauntlet. This was followed up by a victory against 100 Thieves in one of the more recent Fight Nights, placing the team on a winning streak as of writing.

During the Fight Night #13 finals livestream, NA commentator Andrew ‘ZP’ Rush said: “Post-Shroud Gauntlet, I do think you have a little bit of a stratification where top of NA for me right now are ENVY and 100 Thieves. And I do think they’ve made a little bit of a gap between them and the other teams.”

The final team that’s worth keeping an eye on is Team Nemesis, one of the more recent organisations to join the Marvel Rivals scene. This is because Team Nemesis acquired the roster formerly owned by Shikigami, who have in the past defeated teams such as 100 Thieves in Rivals Fight Night.

In a post online, Shikigami wrote: “They did it! Slingshot into a new opportunity. Thank you for truly showing what it means to play with passion! See you in the spawn rooms of Birnin T’Challa.”
