Mold under peel and stick tile?
I pulled up old peel and stick tiles as I am addressing the tile in my utility closet currently. Is this mold under the tiles? Or maybe residual adhesive? They have been in place since I bought the place 6 years ago. I traveled for most of 4 years and had friends/roommates renting, so a lot of basic maintenance has gotten neglected until now. I would not be surprised if it is mold. I plan to gut and remodel my kitchen at some point, and change the layout. Not realistically going to get to that financially or time wise for another year. I would really like this to not be mold haha or be a minimal amount. Something that would allow me to clean/place a new short term solution over it until I am able to completely overhaul it.
