Need vinyl flooring advice - greige walls, black furniture, acacia desk
Recently decided to redo my bedroom and went with a greige color for the walls, which I’m really happy with. I’m also planning to replace the carpet and will be checking out vinyl flooring options today. Before I make a decision, I wanted to get some advice from people with a better eye for design. Originally, I was leaning toward a dark gray floor, but after reading more posts here, I realized that might make the space feel too heavy or cold—especially with all my furniture being black (similar to the bed frame in the photo). I’m also planning to add white baseboard moulding, which matches the freshly painted white trim around my window, closet, and door. The only major piece of furniture besides the bed is my desk, which is a 6ft acacia butcher block from Home Depot sitting on top of two black IKEA cabinets. Would love any input on flooring color suggestions or things to keep in mind. I want the space to feel clean, warm, and a little more modern without being too trendy. Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/Armed-N-Hammered [link] [comments]
