Pros and Cons: Fixing Sagging Fkoor
So the back story is my kitchen is an addition and due to some now fixed plumbing issues, the floor is sagging severely. My oldest child (17) has been doing building trades and claims they know what needs to be done. By and large it's getting under the house and use the specialty jacks to raise everything back up, then brace the joists. Here's my question: Does this sound reasonable to allow my kid to do? I have concerns about both safety as well as risk of further damage, but I also don't know if this is a "that's my kid" reaction or not. What say you, internet? submitted by /u/TheBigBeardedGeek [link] [comments]
