Replacing my sliding patio door lock, which to buy?
My sliding back door is not locking anymore, the hook shaped latch no longer reaches out far enough to catch the door frame. I've looked into replacing it and found it's called mortise lock but I wanted to be sure I'm ordering the right size. Unfortunately Lowe's doesn't sell just the latch in the store. I've measured the distance between the screws. Is that all I need? BTW I know there's an adjustment screw need I've tried turning it quite a bit but the hook doesn't seem to move any. submitted by /u/philnolan3d [link] [comments]
