Shingle… sealing?
My folks are asking me for a hand with this, but roofing is one area I don’t really have much experience with. The issue: the way the shingles are laid in this corner directed rain water behind the drip line flashing into the fascia, obviously causing problems over time as can be seen in the photos where I’ve already removed some trim. I’m good on replacing the fascia and trim but what can I do to prevent t this problem from popping back up down the road? My dad suggested maybe a sealant of some kind. That didn’t sound right to me but roofing is just outside my area of knowledge to say for sure. submitted by /u/southernRoller93 [link] [comments]
