Should you pull for Yumemizuki Mizuki in Genshin Impact?
Yumemizuki Mizuki has made her debut in Genshin Impact, winning hearts with her sweet demeanor and helpful attitude. For those who care about her combat ability, though, is Mizuki worth the Primogems? Is Mizuki good in Genshin Impact? Mizuki’s power level is fairly mediocre. She’s not terrible, but she’s not very strong by 5-star standards. In fact, she’s about on par with the 4-star character Sucrose. Sucrose even has the advantage of greater team flexibility since she can use Normal Attacks. You can think of Mizuki as an alternative to Sayu in terms of gameplay. She uses her Burst to heal, and stays on-field to deal Swirl damage with her Skill. To summarize, I don’t recommend pulling for Mizuki unless you really like her as a character. Even then, you might want to try your luck on the standard banner instead. Image via HoYoverse Mizuki on the standard banner If you don’t pull for Mizuki now, there’s a chance to obtain her on the standard banner after the 5.5 Version update. She will also appear as one of the 5-star options when you lose a 50/50 on the character banner. Once Mizuki’s current banner is over, she’s unlikely to receive a rate-up banner in the future, but there will always be a chance to pull her. Who knows – she may spook you in the very next banner you pull on. If you fail to obtain Mizuki by the time September rolls around, Genshin Impact offers a standard 5-star character selector for its anniversary. Since Mizuki is joining the standard pool, she will be one of the options when you choose your free 5-star character. If you want Mizuki, you will probably get Mizuki – it’s just a matter of when. Image via HoYoverse Is Mizuki’s weapon worth it? If you already have Mizuki, you may be eyeing her signature weapon: Sunny Morning Sleep-In. It’s virtually the only weapon in Genshin Impact that truly synergizes with her kit. It grants Mizuki a massive amount of Elemental Mastery and results in the most damage. I only recommend going for this weapon if you’re committed to making your Mizuki as powerful as possible. Otherwise, there are plenty of other 5-star and 4-star weapon options you can use when building Mizuki. The kicker is that, as a standard character’s signature weapon, Sunny Morning Sleep-In is unlikely to return to the weapon banner. It may rerun in an Inazuma-themed Chronicled Wish banner in the future, but Archons know when that will be. If you’re on the fence about Mizuki’s weapon, this may be your only chance to obtain it for a long time. My advice would be to skip the weapon and then see if you still want it when it reappears on a Chronicled Wish banner.
