Developer Teyon delighted us with the recent news that 2023’s RoboCop: Rogue City is getting a standalone expansion this summer. It’s called Rogue City – Unfinished Business, and while it’s labeled as an expansion, you won’t need to own Rogue City to play it. However, you most definitely should own Rogue City, as it’s packed with charm and personality — qualities you might not expect from a RoboCop FPS game. In a well-timed discount to line up with the announcement, you can nab the Steam version of the game for up to 84% off, depending on where you buy it.
Green Man Gaming has the title for $7.80 (originally $49.99), while Fanatical offers it for $8.49. It’s $9.99 on Steam if you’d rather go straight to the source. This sale excludes the PlayStation 5, but the deluxe edition of the game is $13.49 for Xbox Series X.
The PC system requirements for running Rogue City are somewhat forgiving, and it’s rated as “playable” on the Steam Deck, with the only caution from Valve that the game has text that may appear small on the handheld’s display. In the event that you don’t own a gaming PC or a Steam Deck, you can purchase the game — adding it to your Steam library — then play it on your computer via Nvidia GeForce Now through its free tier, or pay for a monthly subscription.
