Wacko Maria x The Dark Knight Trilogy Honors Heath Ledger's Joker
As part of its latest SS25 drop, Japanese label Wacko Maria has unveiled a new collaboration with The Dark Knight Trilogy, centering on Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker. With a line of classic basics, the actor's legendary performance is highlighted cut out movie stills and minimal graphics.The collection is lead by a range of short sleeved camp collar shirts, featuring repeating prints of the Joker in various compositions. Standing out is a shirt made in a baby blue fabric, plastered with faded images of the Joker's head. Elsewhere, graphic tees boast a simple Wacko Maria word mark on the breast, and center on a large Joker print on the backside. A more complex graphic featuring digital surveillance motifs is featured on a black tee and black crewneck sweatshirt.In February, the brand unveiled another Dark Knight collaboration featuring the extended cast of characters. One shirt focusses on on Christian Bale's portrayal as Batman, sitauting him in the midst of a fireball.
