Wine fridge makes loud pop sounds
Hi! After we moved, our wine fridge has been making the occasional loud, singular pop sound when activating the compressor (like someone knocks on it loudly). According to the manufacturer, this might be due to oil getting into the cooling circuit during moving. During moving, the movers specifically never tilted it more than 45 degrees, so in theory this should not be the issue. The repair costs would be considerable, would it be feasible to ignore this issue for a year or so or can the fridge stop working any minute? As I might be moving again within a year or two (with the risk of this problem occuring again), the repair costs might be a bit steep. submitted by /u/MartinB1998 [link] [comments]
