The Web3 gaming world keeps growing fast. Now, three major players are teaming up to help developers succeed.
XPLA, the Korea Mobile Game Association (KMGA) and PUNKVISM just announced a Web3 Game Incubation Program. This partnership will find, fund and grow the best new Web3 game ideas.
Each partner brings distinct strengths. XPLA will lead the technical side, guiding developers on integrating with the XPLA Mainnet, offering performance support and long-term scalability.
As a respected authority in Korea’s mobile gaming sector, KMGA will deliver crucial education, networking and business consulting to help developers understand player needs and market trends.
Meanwhile, PUNKVISM will focus on discovering fresh talent. Drawing from its background in non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and real-world assets (RWA), it will help game teams adapt to the fast-moving world of Web3.
“The growth potential of the Web3 game market is undeniable, but the entry barriers remain high. Through this partnership, XPLA will help developers create a stable environment and connect with a global ecosystem,” Paul Kim, Team Lead at XPLA, explained.
Together, these partners aim to establish a better-developed and sustainable Web3 gaming ecosystem.
Could Developers Bridge the Gap to Reach Global Users?
The timing couldn’t be better, with the Web3 gaming market projected to surpass $180bn by 2034.
The incubation programme will provide participating developers with essential blockchain tools, expert guidance, publishing support, and funding opportunities.
This initiative joins other industry advances from other players.
For instance, Pudgy Penguins recently launched Pengu Clash, a multiplayer game on the TON blockchain. In April, Web3 banking system Vaulta partnered with Ultra to link gamers, publishers, and developers into one shared ecosystem.
Like these developments, the new incubation programme seeks to create a gaming future in which players enjoy true ownership of their digital assets across multiple platforms.
