Basement waterproofing help!
We recently discovered water seeping into our basement, particularly in a section made of concrete blocks. The issue seems to occur after heavy rain, likely due to ground saturation causing water to penetrate the walls. To address this, we've installed and replaced drain downspout extenders to redirect water away from the house. Next, we plan to use an interior sealant and are considering the following options: DRYLOK® Extreme Concrete & Masonry Waterproofer Hydro-Seal 75 Blue Max® Liquid Rubber Waterproofer We’re looking for a product that’s easy to apply, durable, and compatible with being painted on the concrete floor. If anyone has experience with these products or suggestions, we’d greatly appreciate your input. Thank you! submitted by /u/cluthais [link] [comments]
