Can a thermal imager help locate framing, electrical and pex?
Hi there, so I’m a cabinet maker for a medium size company. I handle a lot of the installs but my team and I have run into issues more frequently that cannot be solved with our usual tricks. I don’t want to post a long winded thing right out the gates so my question is this…can a thermal imaging camera show us where framing, electrical wire, and pex waterlines are (hot and cold)? Please keep in mind the majority of installs we do are in new construction. Some runs of electrical will be off at the breaker; water lines may have water in them but not being frequently used and/or completely off. Any recommendations that would be cost effective would be greatly appreciated and if you have any pics of your wall feel free to send em my way so I can get an idea of what I’d be able to expect Thank you
