cat tore up carpet, need to fix it without notifying management
My apartment doesnt allow pets but due to my ESA letter, they allow mine. they have told me directly that if they find damage it will be violating the ESA rules and i will be evicted. i have a surprise inspection in 2 days and one of my cats tore up a big chunk of carpet by the door when i fell asleep while they were in my room. please, what can i do? i wanted to call a carpet guy but the first guy i talked to immediately said hed have to call my apartments to see if he can because i should be going through maintenance instead?? i saw someone say to take a chunk of carpet from a closet but when i tried it just like fell apart ? im stressed. submitted by /u/kittenhairclip [link] [comments]
