Crummy garage roof trusses Part 2: How to reinforce truss corners?
This is an extension of my original post here. Additional photos of the wider roof structure are available here. As you can see in the photo, the horizontal joist member of this truss connection seems to be separating from the diagonal member of the roof. Additionally, there seems to be very limited connection between the roof system and the sill plate. What would be the most effective method to: a) Connecting the truss members back together b) Reinforcing the connection between the joists/trusses and the sill plate?
