Gunk on Plywood?
was shopping for BCX sanded plywood at Menards, and most of the sheets had what looked like white paint streaks in small quantities randomly across them. on closer inspection, some of them were raised upa bit and too hard for me to scrape off with my thumbnail. i asked the staff about ot and nobody seemed to know. not sure if it was plywood that somebody returned with junk on ot or if there was a logical reason for it, and if so, how to get it off the sheets. my friend said ot looked like glue, and he thought it might be to keep the plywood stable in shipment, but i never saw this on plywood before. any of you guys ever see this? submitted by /u/darkflux88 [link] [comments]
