Sheer Fashion Rules in Jennie's 'Handlebars' Music Video With Dua Lipa
Jennie is now in her solo era. See how her fashion is breaking out and doing its own thing, too.

If you thought you had seen the last of Jennie Kim, think again. The Blackpink singer is back with another music video accompanying her debut solo album, Ruby, with "Handlebars" featuring Dua Lipa. The music video dropped on Monday, starring the pop duo with both stars reminiscing about their shared tendency to fall under love's spell too quickly and rush into relationships that ultimately end in heartbreak. The fashion is there too, with a trendy-as-ever sheer dress and a reference to Carrie Bradshaw.
The music video's dreamy visuals represent the lyrics in the track and invite viewers to let their inhibitions go and allow the recklessness of love to take over just like the K-pop singer and rapper does. The sultry video opens with Jennie singing, "I trip and fall in love, just like a Tuesday drunk, I always go all in, all in, all in, over the handlebars, hitting the ground so hard," while wearing a sequined top over a metallic, checkered mini dress. Shredded black tights, two scarves, and Marc Jacobs' Kiki Knee High Boots complemented the short frock.
The next shot show Jennie taking selfie videos while lying on a spinning bed in a two-piece ensemble reminiscent of the infamous Carrie Bradshaw newspaper dress. The rest of the video sees Jennie lounging on a heart-shaped glittery spider web, directly referencing her habit of falling into love's traps, disregarding the consequences.
Dua Lipa appears in the video after being teleported from another dimension. The "Training Season" singer wears a breathtaking, skin-baring dress adorned with gems, creating the illusion of rivulets cascading down her body. She also dons a sheer dress over a light blue bodysuit with floral embellishments, completed with mesh, long elbow gloves with the same floral embellishments. She eventually joins Jennie in a web as the pair sing about their shared love dilemma.
