VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Stage 1 for the Pacific region has come to a close, with Indonesian esports organisation Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) walking away with its first major trophy in the game..

12 teams from across the region competed from March to May with the aim of qualifying for Masters Toronto, the second Masters tournament of the 2025 VCT season.

With several top teams competing during Stage 1 of VCT Pacific, fans from across the world tuned in to see which teams from the Stage 1 would secure a place at the next international event. Esports Insider takes a closer look at stage viewership, along with which teams proved popular.

VCT Pacific Stage 1 Viewership

According to esports data platform Esports Charts, VCT Pacific Stage 1 saw peak viewing figures of 460,073 during the Grand Finals of the Playoffs between Gen.G and RRQ. RRQ emerged victorious with a 3-1 win over Gen.G, with both teams securing a place at Masters Toronto alongside Paper Rex, which finished the Playoffs in third place.

Compared to 2024’s Stage 1, viewership for VCT Pacific has slightly declined. 2024 saw peak viewership of 509,448, a decrease of 10%.

The slight decrease in peak viewership follows the trend set by the first stage of VCT Americas, which also saw declines in peak and average viewing figures.

VCT Pacific Stage 1 was the most-watched stage from across VALORANT’s regional esports leagues and the third-highest peak viewership recorded this year. The most-watched of the year remains Masters Bangkok, which recorded 1.3m peak viewers.

What Next for VALORANT Esports?

The next event for the VCT is Masters Toronto, taking place from June 6th to 22nd, 2025.

From VCT Pacific, RRQ, Gen.G, and Paper Rex will represent the region and compete for a share of a $1m (~£757,549) prize pool and VCT Points which determine which teams qualify for VCT Champions taking place at the end of the year.

So far, T1 tops the points table for Pacific after taking victory at Masters Bangkok. The winner of Masters Toronto will earn seven VCT Points.
