how to cover heinous cedar panelling?
Our house has a "finished" attic but I use that term loosely because the cedar panelling previously installed was done so badly (think nothing measured, and loose broken and wonky panels with huge gaps and damage everywhere). I have a new baby and I can't afford to tear it out and get a professional in to do drywall. What are my other (relatively cheap/diy friendly) options? Painting seems a bad option because it won't hide how badly this paneling was installed or all the damage. Could I cover it with beadboard? I'm desperate to make this look better so the space feels more useable, even if it's a "landlord special" option. Right now it depresses the heck out of me :S submitted by /u/Available_Advisor610 [link] [comments]
