I'm trying to find a product that will finish clear and protect the metal ski edges from rust when being out in the elements.
TTSIA, but I'm working on building ski chairs and cleaned the vintage skis off but from a bit of rain the edges were insanely rusted. I used a wire sponge to get all of the rust off but how can I put these out in the elements all year long and not have them rust? I'm struggling to find a product that will adhere to the metal edges ans also the ski base that wont yellow or chip over time. Clear marine epoxy? Clear coat spray?
