Karmine Corp CEO explains why the team has no Rocket League 2025 decal

Karmine Corp CEO Arthur Perticoz has responded to the growing backlash at Rocket League Esports over the absence of a RLCS decal for the 2025 season..

Arthur revealed via his official X (Twitter) handle that Karmine Corp declined Epic Games’ offer to include a decal in the game. This is because the proposed amount given by the company did not meet the organisation’s expectations.

“Before, it was based on sales with a percentage per purchase… The new system (a fixed offer) is only based on sales in 2024. We considered that it was unsuitable given our history of past years,” he explained.

Apart from this, he mentioned that even the 2024 decal design did not meet the team’s standards, which was another reason the organisation chose to opt out.

“Our discussions with Epic were respectful (thank you for their time) but fruitless. We simply decided not to accept an offer that was lower than our expectations (for a decal made in 5 days),” Arthur added.

While he expressed respect for the progress Epic and BLAST have made in esports, Arthur emphasised that the organisation won’t agree to deals that don’t reflect its worth.

He apologised to fans but reassured that Karmine Corp will compensate for the missing decal with a ‘shower’ of trophies throughout the year.

“Rocket League is a magnificent esports game. Working together, publishers, league organizers, and clubs can make this game a Tier 1 competitive title. At KC, we’re convinced of this, but we need to find a way to live up to our contribution,” Arthur concluded.

There are a total of 12 team decals available in Rocket League and players can purchase them from the RLCS shop for 300 Credits each, while the goal explosions will cost them 800 Credits.
