In Nekojima, up to five players compete to assemble a power grid by stacking wood pieces as high as they can go. But the many cats of the island have other plans. You’ll need to stack each cylindrical piece strategically so that it’ll hold up when the curious cats inevitably hang on the wires. Each game is 15 minutes long, and is fun for the whole family (except for the eventual loser, maybe). You can snag a copy of Nekojima on Amazon right now for $18.99, which is half off its original price. This is the first discount since early January.
Nekojima was designed by David Carmona and Karen Nguyen, with art by Gilles Warmoes. It’s published by Hachette Boardgames, the same publisher that put out Sky Team, one of 2024’s best board games that’s very much still worth playing today.
