Permanently closing garage, concrete help
I want to remove my garage door and frame in a man door but first I need to level the concrete for the framing. There is a metal bar which looks easy to remove but the slanted part would need about 2 inches of concrete to make everything level. So far I've read that I can pour concrete directly over this and be fine but I'm getting mixed results. Some people say to break up the concrete underneath to make a better bond and other say it will be fine. I'm worried that once I drill into secure the framing it will crack. Has anyone done something like this and have any advice? Thank you. https://preview.redd.it/l5crp3rerwne1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=210ad81949fd8e47b435af92ac38d5cdc520ce58 submitted by /u/whiskyandporridge [link] [comments]
