Picture frame/wainscoting trim fastening without a stud
I want to add some picture frame trim to my walls. The boxes will be rather large, 42.5 inches x 25.75 inches and 42.5 inches x 60 inches, using 1 inch trim. There are not studs where I want to place the trim (specifically for the vertical pieces). Would using a nail gun be sufficient to fasten them into the drywall? Would I need to glue them? I just hope to avoid glue as it would ruin the drywall if I ever change my mind. submitted by /u/EmpathetiCarebear [link] [comments]
