replacing light socket receptacle with an outlet
So I'm currently remodeling my office. i want to add home over head hexlighting but the house is pretty old so there is no over head lighting in the room. theres a wall mounted light. so what im thinking is if i replace the wall mounted light with an outlet so i can just plug in the new lights. so my question is how should i go about this? should i relocate the receptacle to the ceiling? there the office is on the first flour so ill have to cut a channel through the drywall. is there a better way? submitted by /u/Spiritual_Pattern_59 [link] [comments]
