Indian esports organisation S8UL Esports has announced the acquisition of popular North American Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) roster BloodThirstyKings (BTK).
As a result, S8UL becomes the first organisation based in India to sign an international MLBB roster.
Launched in 2020, BTK quickly cemented itself as one of the best MLBB teams in the world, with a third-place finish at the M3 World Championship, taking home $80,000 (~£60,107) in prize money.
Before signing for S8UL Esports, the team booked its place at the MLBB Mid Season Cup, with a dominant performance at the Spring North America Challenger Tournament where it secured a 4-2 victory over Area 77 in the Grand Final. Similar to last year’s edition, the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2025 will take place at the upcoming Esports World Cup.
Last year, BTK scored a top-ten finish at the M6 World Championship, an event that went on to garner over 4m peak viewers.
“We’re committing to MLBB in a big way — becoming a partnered organisation and aligning closely with the S8UL vision,” said Amimesh Agarwal, Co-founder and CEO of S8UL Esports.
“As a mobile-first org, MLBB holds a special place for us. It’s the only mobile title among the eight games we’re part of. The game’s growth in India is promising, and we’re excited to contribute to its rise by working with key Indian stakeholders.”
Growth for S8UL Esports
Expanding into Mobile Legends comes at a time of expansion for S8UL Esports. Throughout 2025, it has signed several rosters across a variety of titles ahead of the Esports World Cup, taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Its newly-signed MLBB roster is one of seven representing the organisation at the multi-title event.
Alongside MLBB, the organisation will compete in Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone, Chess, EA Sports FC, StarCraft II and Tekken 8.
S8UL Esports is also one of 40 esports organisations that forms part of the Esports World Cup Club Partner Program.
