slightly adjust shower drain
Only after completely demoing our bath did I clue in; My desire to have a slightly bigger alcove tub means I've got to adjust the shower drain flange by just under 1 inch. Before I go ripping our subfloor and re plumbing the entire thing include p-trap etc (everything is plumed so tight I can't fathom a cut anywhere else to gain that inch except down the line past the trap even) I'm wondering if there is a simpler solution I'm missing. Is there some kind of flexible option that would help me gain this extra inch away from the rear wall (with window in photo)? I've found some basic corrugated plastic looking type ones that I can't imagine would hold up super well long term, but maybe there's an option that I've not considered; maybe? Hopefully? https://preview.redd.it/c5mnh960y8pe1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=af30e5ec8f28c6ecee50caf44d3d3fb5cd58e02f submitted by /u/Anne_8788 [link] [comments]
