Storm Door Issues

Purchased a house in December. Some strong winds came and the storm door ripped off. Turns out it was custom sized. I’d like to not spend $800 on a storm door. Currently the door way is 78”. The old storm door was 76”. They built it down 2 inches because of the gutter. There is about a foot long overhang from the sloped roof overtop of the front of the house. Then the gutter is installed and is about two inches deep. Trying to find a solution here. If I can do it myself, even better. Should I just remove the gutter? Should I just remove the whole overhang and gutter? submitted by /u/Grape-Train [link] [comments]
