The main form of progression in Dead Spells is the class you play as. You can either roll for your class and hope you get a good one, or you can actually save your currency and buy it for good. Whichever method you choose, it's essential to know you're going for one of the better classes in the game. To help you pick, we made this Ultimate Dead Spells Class Tier List. How to get new classes in Dead Spells Screenshot by Destructoid In order to get new classes in Dead Spells you need to use the in-game currency - Burgers. Using Burgers, you can unlock a new class in two different ways: Roll for a new class - Costs 10 Burgers (can only be done 10 times per account) Permanently buy a new class - varies from class to class (from 100 to 7,500 Burgers) We recommend rolling for a new class until you get a rare or better class, and then start saving Burgers for a really powerful class. Fortunately, getting Burgers is easy - just play the game, do well, and you'll get plenty of them. A starting class can definitely give you a boost, but it ultimately all depends on how well you play the game and how effectively you use what you gather. SS-Tier Class Name Starting Items Passives Info Necromancer - Dark Wand- Mana Potion x 3- Wizard Hat- Tome Of The Undead- Pitchfork Undead enemies don't attack you As a Necromancer, you can summon Undeadto fight for you. This makes you extremely pwoerful.You also have a bunch of items at the start. Truly an OP class. King - Spirit Contract- Crown- Sword No passives Similar to the Necromancer, the King can also summon a Spiritto fight for him. Additionally, the King also gets a Sword and even a Crown.Amazing starting class and very easy to play, too. S-Tier Class Name Starting Items Passives Info Defected Shogun - Dishonored Blade- Corruption Mask- Dash Unable to use other weapons Longer melee range+100% more HP+ 30% Damage- 20% Speed The only two things holding the Defected Shogun back are him speed and the fact he can't equip other weapons.Other than that, a Defected Shogun is an extremely powerful class. Samurai - KatanaSamurai Helmet Unable to use magical weapons Unlike Ronin and Ninja, the Samurai can equip different weapons and can use armor. The Katana a Samurai gets is a fantastic starter weapon, andthe helmet is really powerful, too. A great class to start with. A-Tier Class Name Starting Items Passives Info Giant - Club + 100% Health+ 50% Melee Damage- 25% Speed Giants are really powerful, but that power comes at a huge cost. Giants are too big to enter buildings and structures, and they are very slow.If you can live with these setbacks, then a Giant is a pretty great class. Vampire - Bite Can't regenerate HP naturally+ 20% Melee Damage+ 10% Lifesteal Vampires need to bite to feed. This sounds great, but the Lifesteal only takes 10% of damage.Still, with a 20% Melee Damage increase, Vampires are pretty solid. Ronin - Katana- Ronin Helmet Can't equip other weapons or armor- 25% Health Like the Samurai, the Ronin starts with a Katana, but they can't equip other weapons or armor.They also have lower health, hence why we placed them lower. Otherwise, a pretty good class,especially if you can get them through the 10 rolls. Ninja - Katana- Dash Can't equip armor+ 10% Speed Ninjas are cool, but when they can't wear any armor, they become quite squishy.You need to avoid taking damage at all cost and use the dash effectively.If you can manage that, it's a pretty great class. B-Tier Class Name Starting Items Passives Info Ghoul - Pitch Fork Not targeted by undead enemies- 50 % Health Regen- 35% Health+ 35% Damage+20% Speed Similar to Ninjas, Ghouls are really squishy at the beginning.However, after you get them some armor, the 35% extra damagecan really make them powerful... but only if you can survive that long. Warrior - Battle Axe- Warrior Helmet - 50% Health Regen+ 25% Melee Damage Warriors do more damage, but their Health regenerates slower. That's about it.Easy to understand, easy to play, not a lot more going on. Knight - Sword- Knight Helmet + 15% Damage Similar to Warriors, but they do a bit less damage and don't suffer the Health Regen debuff. C-Tier Class Name Starting Items Passives Info Goblin - Dagger Can't use magic weapons- 25% Health+ 15% Damage+ 35% Health Regen+ 20% Speed Goblins are a bit like Knights, only they don't start with good gear.The extra speed really helps out, too. Otherwise, they are only goodif you get lucky during the early game. Mage - Crude Wand- Mana Potion x 2- Wizard Hat + 15% Wand Damage If you can handle only using magic weapons, Mages are pretty good. Otherwise, youshould probably replace them with a better class. How to get new classes in Dead Spells
