Universal’s groundbreaking new theme park, Universal Epic Universe, opens in just over two months. With five lands inspired by popular movie and game franchises like Universal Classic Monsters, Nintendo, Harry Potter and more, theme park fans are clamoring to get through the gates when the park opens May 22.
If you are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to drive in a life-size Mario Kart race in Super Nintendo World or travel from wizarding Paris to the British Ministry of Magic in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic via Metro-Floo, we have good news.
One-day tickets are now on sale for Universal Epic Universe.
Initially, Universal only opened Epic Universe tickets to annual passholders or those buying Universal Orlando vacation packages. With select three-, four-and five-day admission tickets to Universal’s theme parks, guests could get one-day access to Epic Universe. While these packages are still available, guests now have access to one-day ticket options as well.
Although the park opens May 22, one-day tickets are only available beginning June 1. Between the opening date and June 1, guests can only visit Epic Universe if they purchase the special vacation package mentioned above.

There are three options available:
- Two-day, one-park-per-day ticket: This includes one day of admission to Epic Universe and one day of admission to Universal Studios Florida or Universal Islands of Adventure, starting at $259 per person for adults ($249 for children ages 3 to 9).
- Two-day, three-park ticket: This includes one day of admission to Epic Universe and one day of admission to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, starting at $259 per person for adults ($249 for children).
- One-day Universal Epic Universe ticket: This includes one-day admission to Epic Universe, starting at $139 per person for adults ($134 for children).

Prices vary by date. Currently, the least expensive available tickets are for dates in early September. Ticket add-ons — such as Universal Express skip-the-line pass and VIP Tours — are not yet on sale but will be available soon.
Reservations at all three of Universal’s new hotels near Epic Universe are also available. Guests staying at these or any official Universal Orlando hotel will enjoy perks like one-hour early entry to all of Universal’s theme parks (including Epic Universe), complimentary transportation, resort-wide charging privileges, complimentary merchandise delivery and more.
Universal Stella Nova Resort opened in January, and its sister property, Universal Terra Luna Resort, is scheduled to open in March. Both are adjacent to Epic Universe and fall into Universal’s Prime Value lodging category. Prices start at $147 per night (applies to stays of four nights or longer).
The park’s flagship hotel, Universal Helios Grand Hotel, is currently taking reservations for May 22 and beyond. This high-end hotel is already being called “the crown jewel of Epic Universe and the pinnacle of Universal Orlando’s hotel experiences.” This is both because of its mythology-inspired celestial theme and its unique location inside Epic Universe.
Because of its proximity, the hotel will have a dedicated entrance to Epic Universe exclusively for Universal Grand Helios guests. Guests at Stella Nova and Terra Luna can use bus transportation or take a convenient walking path to Epic Universe.
We are mere months away from stepping into what is poised to be the most impressive theme park of our generation — one that’s sure to transform the theme park experience and influence future lands and parks at Universal and beyond.
As a frequent theme park visitor, I may be biased, but I think this is one park everyone must see at least once. If you agree, snag your ticket now. I wouldn’t be surprised to see early June availability disappear quickly.
