Can I replace hardboard siding with something else?
As in the title: I have old 1970s hardboard siding. Stuff was discontinued in 1992 after the lawsuit. I have a section of two board and probably 10' that I need to replace. Part of the deck was there. I removed that part of the deck. Siding behind and adjacent is rotted. I don't want to drop thousands on all new outside. It is 12' boards.
