Electric fence for roof raccoons

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum but I'm trying to get suggestions on how to wire an electric fence to prevent raccoons from jumping a fence to a nearby roof. I'm not protecting chickens but the roof has a skylight and the nocturnal activity is keeping people up. I understand that one can wire the barrier in alternating pattern (wire/ground, wire/ground...) or have all the wires energized with respect to ground. However, there's no "ground" to stick a ground rod so I would have to add a metal surface below the fence in order to implement the latter strategy. Has anyone fought this battle? submitted by /u/ravaturnoCAD [link] [comments]
