Soul Cards are the, uh, soul of Rogue: Genesia. They are what distinguishes Rogue: Genesia from Vampire Survivor and many others in the genre — the most important part of every run is your choice of Soul Cards. In short, Soul Cards are weapons and evolved weapons, weapon mods, enhancements, and special abilities, all wrapped inside the concept of a random drop of cards. After leveling up and following certain events, you get to pick one of three random Soul Cards to enhance your character. So, what’s this about new cards? However, the update covers a lot more than that, including the new A-rank world and seeded runs, but cards do take over half of the patch notes for version 1.0. Some of those cards can only be found in the Void Dimension zone. Cards being tied to a specific zone is not news, but this is the first time it applies to the new Void Dimension. That’s the case with Goblin’s Eye, Worm’s Plate, and every other card tied to defeating a certain boss on a certain difficulty. While all the card unlocks are tied to achievements, only some feel like they earned the title. Those include Accelerator, which requires getting the Projectile Speed stat above 500%, and all the ones tied to upping Talent Charge Cost and Rate. Here’s how to unlock all of them.
