I am not sure why the white is just tied off to itself, and the black is double connected to the old fixture. May be hard to tell without zooming, but both black share a tie off, and then the ground is looping over into its own separate one. The new fixture has more of a direct connect for the black and white, which makes sense to me, but I am not sure if I should just shove the two blacks together into one, and leave the white alone? submitted by /u/garciawork [link] [comments]
