Arc System Works will host a showcase on Friday, June 26 at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, the company revealed. As one of the headlining attractions, the live stream event will reveal a new unnamed project from Guilty Gear creator Daisuke Ishiwatari.
So, what else can you expect from the Arc System Works showcase? The company will share new information about other Arc System Works titles, “including completely new titles” that the company is working on. With Guilty Gear Strive gearing up for the arrival of Lucy from Netflix’s Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime as the final season 4 DLC character and Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls recently being announced, there could also be a lot of goodies revealed at the showcase for fighting game fanatics revolving around these two titles.
Speaking of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, the exciting new game was first shown off at the PlayStation State of Play in early June. The game came as a surprise, as many fans didn’t expect a Marvel fighting game without Capcom, with both companies being linked together in the fighting game genre since the ’90s. A brief backstory was given about Fighting Souls during the State of Play, with a glimpse at the game’s roster and gameplay. But that was it. So, it should be interesting to see how much time Arc System Works decides to spend on the game and where the roster could end up — especially considering Tōkon is the first 4v4 fighting game ever.
The Arc System Works showcase will be available to watch on YouTube.
