Need advice on hanging 80lbs Chandelier
I need some guidance on installing a chandelier that weighs 80 lbs. The existing ceiling box is a Westinghouse Fan Master Jr. 2525, which, according to the manufacturer, supports up to 150 lbs when properly installed. The challenge I'm facing is that the ceiling plate (part D2 in the image below) is twice the size of a standard ceiling box, which makes mounting difficult.
