Team Vitality has launched V.University, an international campaign inspired Ivy League educational establishments in the United States.
As part of the campaign, the French esports organisation has collaborated with hummel to launch its university-inspired jersey.
According to a release, the jersey will be worn by Team Vitality’s roster of esports players competing across North America throughout the remainder of May and June. Tournaments include IEM Dallas, the BLAST.tv Austin Major and the RLCS Raleigh Major.
The jersey will be available to purchase on Team Vitality’s website and forms part of a larger collection of merchandise, which includes T-shirts, bomber jackets, shorts and caps. Alongside the new range of merchandise, the campaign will be featured across the organisation’s social media platforms.
“The US is home to one of the largest and most passionate esports communities, making it a natural step in Team Vitality’s ongoing international expansion,” said Fabien ‘Neo’ Devide, President and Co-founder of Team Vitality.
“With V.University, we’re not just growing our presence, we’re creating a new platform that brings fans closer to the Team Vitality experience in a way that no other organisation has done before.”
The organisation is no stranger to the North American market. In 2024, it acquired a US-based Teamfight Tactics (TFT) roster and is set to compete in the closed qualifier for the Esports World Cup at the end of the month.
Team Vitality’s Continued Expansion
Alongside focusing on growing its presence within North America, Team Vitality continues to expand across several sectors around the world.
In May, the organisation acquired Southeast Asian organisation Bigetron Esports, one of the region’s top PUBG Mobile teams and a founding member of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s MPL Indonesia.
Outside of esports, the organisation recently launched RushBee, a creative marketing agency offering solutions for stakeholders looking to capitalise on new and emerging media trends.
