No power or harness for water valve (Kitchenaid)
I have a kitchenaid fridge that is "ice maker ready". The process of adding an ice maker seems simple enough but when I went to plug in the water valve, I can't find a wiring harness. Am I missing something obvious? Inside the freezer there is a harness to connect the ice maker but I can't find any spare plug in the back. There is a hole that is capped (see photos). Under the cap is foam insulation. I dug into it but just kept shredding foam insulation and ultimately determined there was not likely to be a wiring harness further up there and maybe it was a drain plug or service access. What am I missing??? submitted by /u/CLT_LVR [link] [comments]
