Placing Gravel for Truck to have Traction to Cattle Yards

I've got some cattle to be picked up Sunday but the ground in front of the ramp is damp/spongy and on a slope (its been raining for near 6 months...). A cattle truck wont get traction there so need to do something. This is the area: https://prnt.sc/ya3tDMdnoT3y https://prnt.sc/SKEILpnit9uR I was wondering if I get a few metres of 40mm gravel and dump it over the grass if this would help? I'll also fill the tire ruts on the driveway. I dont care how it looks visually as its purely functional but not sure If I should be scrapping back the grass to straight soil before I drop gravel? Or something else? Any suggestions for this or other easy solutions? submitted by /u/Gustomaximus [link] [comments]
