Tarp is flooded with heavy water, afraid wood support will collapse under weight

My patio has beams where I can add a tarp on top so that I can be outside in the rain without getting wet. Problem is, I half assed the installation and the tarp sagged due to lack of screws and I never fixed it, it rained for 3 days and now I have 3 giant water spots which are very heavy. How do I extract the water? Making holes isn’t an option, I’m afraid if I leave it like this the support would collapse. It’s been like this for 2 days now and I barely noticed today. I was thinking of just renting out a water pump as soon as Home Depot started. But, would I be able to leave it like this as a last resort and it’ll hopefully evaporate? submitted by /u/Opfor52 [link] [comments]
