Screen Frame installation on Stone Veneer wall?

I want to screen the entrance of the front of my house. What is the best way to install screen aluminum frames to a wall/column that has stone veneer (just half wall down)? Since the frame will lay on an uneven vertical surface (because of the textured stones), I thought of using a angle grinder to cut out the width of the frame from the stone veneer to make space for the frame. This way, the cut out will be even with the other half of the wall and can place the frame on this surface. This is the only visually "clean" solution I see. However, in other houses I think I've seen the frame installed right on top of the stones and "bent" halfway the wall where the stone veneer ends. And it seems some additional frame/cover of same material was placed to cover the gaps between the frame and the stone. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself well enough. It's just that I've seen this other solution but I don't know the it's been done. Note: I want the screen to go as shown in the image (entry_screenFrames.jpg). If I move it backwards, the space will feel smaller and look kind of weird. submitted by /u/Rich-Bluebird-8600 [link] [comments]
