Valve unveils BLAST.tv Austin Major stickers and Viewer Pass

Valve has revealed the tournament stickers and Viewer Pass for the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) BLAST.tv Austin Major.

Following the developer’s announcement, Counter-Strike fans can start supporting their favourite teams today through the in-game cosmetic items.

Austin Major stickers are available in two variants – displaying the logos of every participating team or additionally featuring player autographs. Team logo capsules and autograph capsules can be purchased starting today for a chance to obtain the time-limited stickers.

Austin Major stickers also come in various finishes inspired by the flair of the event’s host state, Texas.

With otherwise unreliable revenue streams, tournament stickers have long been considered a crucial part of Counter-Strike’s esports ecosystem.

The initiative has provided organisations of all sizes that have qualified for a Major with significant funding through years of financial uncertainty. While the revenue split between Valve and teams is a well-kept secret, it is assumed that the earnings from sticker capsule sales exceed tournament prize winnings for many organisations.

However, stickers are not the only way of supporting Austin Major teams. The event’s Viewer Pass includes a coin which fans can upgrade by playing the Pick’Em challenge. For the duration of the Major, the pass also features unlimited team graffiti, allowing players to show their support.

Finally, fans may earn or purchase Souvenir Tokens, which can be redeemed for a memento from the match of their choice.

The BLAST.tv Austin Major is the first Major in the 2025 Counter-Strike esports calendar. The competition will take place at Austin’s Moody Center from June 3rd-22nd.

Offering a $1.25m prize pool, the Major will see 32 top-tier teams which have qualified based on their Valve Regional Standings (VRS) and regional qualification.
