The International 2025, Dota 2’s biggest tournament of the year, has finally locked in which teams will be heading to Hamburg, Germany.

Teams across Europe, the Americas, and Asia have been competing for a chance to compete on the MOBA title’s biggest stage. With the qualifiers concluding, Esports Insider takes a closer look at the eight teams that have earned a place at the season-ending event.

The International 2025 Qualified Teams

Two teams from Western Europe and Southeast Asia have earned a place at the main event, with two teams from the Americas, one from China, and one from Eastern Europe also competing.

Western Europe

  • NAVI Junior
  • Nigma Galaxy

NAVI Junior and Nigma Galaxy booked their places in the tournament after winning the upper and lower brackets of the qualifier.

NAVI Junior defeated OG Esports in the upper final while Nigma Galaxy defeated OG in the lower final to become the final team to earn a place at this year’s edition of The International.

Eastern Europe

  • Aurora Gaming

Aurora Gaming managed to earn the sole place from the Eastern Europe qualifier with a convincing campaign, only conceding one game to NAVI in the upper bracket final. A 3-0 sweep of Cyber Goose in the Grand Final cemented its place at The International.

China

  • Xtreme Gaming

Xtreme Gaming managed to defeat Yakult Brothers twice on its way to representing China at The International. A 2-1 win in the upper bracket final, followed by a 3-0 victory, would be enough for the Chinese side to qualify.

Southeast Asia

  • Team Nemesis
  • BOOM Esports

Team Nemesis won the first place from the Southeast Asian qualifiers with a win over Talon Esports in the upper bracket final.

BOOM Esports became the second team from the region to qualify, after defeating Talon Esports in the lower bracket final. While the result is great for BOOM Esports, Talon missed two opportunities to earn a place on Dota 2’s biggest stage.

The Americas

The North American qualifier was one of the closest for this year’s edition of The International. Wildcard defeated Shopify Rebellion in a hotly contested five-game series to earn a place in Munich, Germany.

For South America, HEROIC managed to fight back from the lower bracket, defeating Edge 3-1 to qualify.
