Fire Pit Help / Ideas
I recently bought a house that came with a Fire Pit cut into the 4" thick concrete patio. It has a steel band lining the inside with the bottom of Virginia clay. It looks like the pit was filled with the red lavarock. Then had 3 levels of 10x4" bricks circled around it poorly glued together. The last owner never cleaned it out so I had a 12"x38" cone of ash to dig out. My wife wants a usable fire pit. I need some recommendations as to the best way forward. submitted by /u/Bubba-and-the-Moo [link] [comments]
