How should I be worried about this concrete crack? Is it a foundation issue?
The house was built in 1996. My family bought it four years ago and rented it out to a relative. We recently moved back in. While renovating, I began looking the house more closely to see if anything else needed repairs and saw large cracks on the floor in the garage. I don’t recall seeing these cracks when we first bought the house, but I’m not entirely sure. These are in the interior corner of the garage, where the concrete floor slab meets the foundation wall. The cracks run horizontally along the base of the wal, ranges from about half an inch to nearly one inch wide. How much should I worry about it?
